Mountain Hunter Backpack
translation missing: en.products.product.on_sale
Hunter backpack traditionally called "Pasiking" is from the Igorot Tribes of the Cordillera Region, Northern Luzon, The Philippines.
Handmade the traditional way from Rattan and Bamboo.
Pre-Spanish Cordillera peoples used the materials they had within easy reach to create items that for the most part utilitarian but weavers would also add their creative stamp.
This Pasiking is a true example of practicality (material and shape) and aesthetics combined (simple pattern to front body).
Known for its durability during rainy season as the rattan contracts when wet, making the weave tighter and less prone to splitting.
